Ingredients

- 2 pounds chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until blended.
- Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, and ensure it is well-coated with the marinade.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
- If desired, remove chicken and thicken sauce with cornstarch mixed with water, then return chicken to the slow cooker before serving.
Notes
Serve over rice or quinoa and garnish with green onions. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
