Description

A playful twist on mac and cheese, these muffins combine creamy cheese with the crunch and spice of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cheetos Flamin’ Hot, crushed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Additional crushed Cheetos for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain well.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, crushed Cheetos, milk, eggs, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Stir thoroughly.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about three-quarters full. Sprinkle additional crushed Cheetos on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin.

Notes

These muffins are best served warm. Pair with ranch dressing or a creamy dipping sauce for added flavor.
