Description

A delightful combination of sweet and spicy, these muffins combine crunchy pretzel bits and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos for a unique treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pretzel bits
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with muffin liners.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the pretzel bits and crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
  7. Divide the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each liner about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
