- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh fruits (like berries or sliced peaches)
- Gelatin (optional, for a sturdier texture)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth. If using gelatin, sprinkle it over 2 tablespoons of warm water and let it bloom for 1–2 minutes, then stir until dissolved.
- In a clean bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the yogurt in two additions, preserving air.
- Pour the combined mixture into a serving dish or individual cups and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
- Before serving, top with fresh fruits, and optionally, add toasted nuts or a drizzle of honey.
Notes
For a firmer texture, add gelatin. Refrigerate for up to 3 days and keep fruit separate until serving.
