Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the risen dough and divide it into small balls.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush the garlic mixture over the dough balls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
For a stronger garlic flavor, increase the minced garlic. You can also add additional herbs for extra flavor.
