Description

Delicious homemade garlic bread rolls with a buttery, savory flavor and soft, fluffy interior.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the risen dough and divide it into small balls.
  6. Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush the garlic mixture over the dough balls.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

For a stronger garlic flavor, increase the minced garlic. You can also add additional herbs for extra flavor.
