Description
A quick and flavorful surf-and-turf dish combining tender steak bites and juicy shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the steak bites and shrimp dry with paper towels; season steak lightly with salt and pepper.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Remove steak bites and set aside. In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic, cooking for 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss gently with shrimp until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Pat the proteins dry for better browning. Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure a good sear. Serve over rice, pasta, or salad.
