Description

A quick and flavorful surf-and-turf dish combining tender steak bites and juicy shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak bites and shrimp dry with paper towels; season steak lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove steak bites and set aside. In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic, cooking for 1 minute.
  5. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Return steak bites to the skillet and toss gently with shrimp until well combined and heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Pat the proteins dry for better browning. Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure a good sear. Serve over rice, pasta, or salad.
