Description

A delightful dish that seamlessly combines rich flavors of garlic, cheese, and fresh asparagus with juicy chicken breasts.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat well with the mixture.
  4. Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  5. Place the marinated chicken on the same baking sheet next to the asparagus.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
  8. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the dish just before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for an hour or overnight; don’t skip the lemon juice.
