- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 lemon, juiced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat well with the mixture.
- Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Place the marinated chicken on the same baking sheet next to the asparagus.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the dish just before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for an hour or overnight; don’t skip the lemon juice.
