Description

A delightful goat cheese quiche with spinach and creamy textures, perfect for brunch or a light dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup crumbled goat cheese
  • 1 cup spinach (fresh or cooked)
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Herbs (such as thyme or chives, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden. Allow it to cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. In the baked pie crust, layer the spinach, chopped onion, and crumbled goat cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layers in the crust.
  6. Optionally, sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly browned on top.
  8. Let the quiche cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes
