- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- 2 cups fresh arugula
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined and bubbly.
- Add the sliced pears to the skillet and toss to coat. Cook undisturbed for about 5-7 minutes until golden and tender.
- On a serving plate, stack the caramelized pears to form an elegant tower. Spoon burrata over the pears.
- Garnish with arugula, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
Notes
For variations, consider adding chopped nuts or using different fruits. The dish can be stored with pears and burrata kept separately in the fridge.
