- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ham slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Arrange three bowls: one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last one with breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken breast in flour, then in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown and crispy.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, top with ham and mozzarella cheese, and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
Notes
For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs. Ensure not to overcrowd the skillet when frying.
