Description

A delightful dish combining the flavors of chicken, ham, and melted mozzarella, all enveloped in a crispy, golden crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup ham slices
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Arrange three bowls: one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last one with breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken breast in flour, then in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown and crispy.
  4. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, top with ham and mozzarella cheese, and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.

Notes

For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs. Ensure not to overcrowd the skillet when frying.
