- 1 wheel of Brie cheese
- 1/2 cup fig jam
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)
- Crackers or sliced baguette (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry until it’s large enough to wrap around the Brie cheese completely.
- Place the Brie wheel in the center of the puff pastry and top it with fig jam.
- Fold the puff pastry over the Brie, sealing it well.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the wrapped Brie.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving with crackers or sliced baguette.
Notes
Let the Brie cool for a few minutes to maintain its shape when slicing.
