Description

A lighter take on a classic treat, these Greek Yogurt Brownies are fudgy, slightly tangy, and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 15–20 minutes. Cut into 9 squares.

Notes
