Description

A mouthwatering dish combining Coca-Cola and barbecue sauce for tender, juicy chicken with a delightful sweetness, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup Coca-Cola
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the Coca-Cola, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the chicken in a resealable bag, pour the marinade over it, seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove the grilled chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For the best flavor, marinate overnight and allow the chicken to rest after grilling for juiciness.
