Instructions

  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet. Layer the ham and cheese on top, then add the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  4. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese melts and the sandwich is golden brown.
  5. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately.

Notes
