Ingredients

- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- Olive oil for brushing
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly integrated.
- Cut each pita bread in half to create pockets. Gently stuff each half with the lamb mixture, ensuring they’re filled but not overly packed.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the outside of each stuffed pita with a light coating of olive oil.
- Place the stuffed pitas on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until the lamb is cooked through and the pita is crispy and golden brown.
- Once grilled, remove the pitas from the grill. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper or chopped chili to the lamb mixture.
