Description

Festive Grinch Pancakes that bring joy and color to your holiday mornings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Green food coloring
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Chocolate chips or berries (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vegetable oil.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Add green food coloring to the batter and mix until desired color is achieved.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake, cooking until bubbles form; flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with whipped cream, decorated with chocolate chips or berries.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter for fluffy pancakes. Adjust heat if pancakes brown too quickly.
