Ingredients

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 12 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • Salsa (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet with the cooked beef. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
  4. Fill each taco shell generously with the seasoned beef mixture.
  5. Top your tacos with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese, adding optional sour cream and salsa.
