Description

Delightful Halloween dessert combining chocolate cake with Oreo crust topped with cream cheese frosting and festive sprinkles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup Halloween-themed sprinkles
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting
  • 1/2 cup extra crushed Oreo cookies for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan to form a crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and water; mix until smooth. Pour over the crust.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  5. Spread cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake and top with sprinkles and extra crushed Oreos.
  6. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
