- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter and milk until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced ham and shredded cheese. Pour the batter into the greased pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with tomato soup or scrambled eggs. Store in an airtight container up to 2 days at room temperature or up to 4–5 days in the refrigerator.
