Description
A warm, cheesy casserole with crispy tater tots topping a creamy filling of ham and green onions. Perfect for weeknight dinners and potlucks.

- 1 pound frozen tater tots
- 2 cups diced ham
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Nonstick spray or a little oil for the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or oil. If tater tots are clumped, spread them on a tray.
- Whisk the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth in a mixing bowl. Stir in ham, green onions, and seasoning.
- Spread half of the tater tots across the bottom of the baking dish. Pour the ham mixture over the tots, then arrange the remaining tater tots on top. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Cover with foil if browning too quickly.
- Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with extra green onions if desired.
Notes
For extra crunch, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end. Keep ingredients cold until mixing to maintain texture.
