- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Measure and gather all ingredients.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using), folding gently.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
