- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/8 inch thick and cut into 4 equal squares.
- Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over to create a triangle and seal the edges with a fork. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Serve alongside vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
