Description
This hot lobster dip is rich, creamy, and full of sweet lobster flavor. It melts into a bubbly, golden-topped dip that smells like warm butter and garlic. Perfect for parties or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish (about 8×8 inches or similar). Make sure the cream cheese is soft so it mixes easily.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and even.
- Fold in the chopped lobster meat, shredded cheddar cheese, and green onions until well combined. Stir gently so the lobster pieces stay intact.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the top begins to brown. If you like a golden top, finish with a quick 1–2 minute broil while watching closely.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted bread. Spoon into a shallow bowl so the dip stays warm longer.
Notes
Serve the dip right from the oven for best texture. Offer a mix of dippers like toasted baguette slices or potato chips. If you want to add heat, serve with crushed red pepper or hot sauce.
