  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, granulated sugar, and softened butter. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the ricotta mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips gently, pour batter into prepared pan, and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
