- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, granulated sugar, and softened butter. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the ricotta mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips gently, pour batter into prepared pan, and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
