Description

Quick and crowd-pleasing snack with a warm, flaky outside and a creamy, spicy center.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, bacon (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into triangles. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll the dough around the filling. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with dipping sauces and garnish with chopped chives or jalapeño.
