  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels; drying helps the coating stick and crisp.
  3. Combine minced garlic, grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Stir until the mix is evenly moist.
  4. Coat each chicken breast with the mixture, pressing it firmly so the crust adheres.
  5. Place the coated breasts in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden brown. Tent with foil if the crust browns too fast.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra crisp, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end. Freshly grated Parmesan provides best results.
