- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment for easy cleanup.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels; drying helps the coating stick and crisp.
- Combine minced garlic, grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Stir until the mix is evenly moist.
- Coat each chicken breast with the mixture, pressing it firmly so the crust adheres.
- Place the coated breasts in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden brown. Tent with foil if the crust browns too fast.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra crisp, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end. Freshly grated Parmesan provides best results.
