Description

A quick and easy low-carb dinner featuring juicy chicken breasts topped with creamy ranch dressing and melted cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and pound to an even thickness if necessary.
  2. In a bowl, mix ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Adjust salt if necessary.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour ranch mixture evenly over them. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven and let sit for 3–5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use a thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked through without overcooking. Cover loosely with foil for the first 20 minutes to avoid burning the cheese.
