Description
A quick and easy low-carb dinner featuring juicy chicken breasts topped with creamy ranch dressing and melted cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and pound to an even thickness if necessary.
- In a bowl, mix ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Adjust salt if necessary.
- Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour ranch mixture evenly over them. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and let sit for 3–5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use a thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked through without overcooking. Cover loosely with foil for the first 20 minutes to avoid burning the cheese.
