Description

These sliders blend sweet maple, smoky bacon, and seasoned meat into a juicy patty that shines on a soft slider bun, perfect for game day or casual dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Slider buns
  • Lettuce and tomato for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, gather all ingredients. Cook the bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels, and crumble. Wash and slice tomato and tear lettuce if using. Lightly oil the skillet or preheat the grill to medium.
  2. Add ground chicken, ground beef, crumbled bacon, maple syrup, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to the bowl. Use clean hands or a spoon to mix gently until just combined. Avoid overworking the meat to keep patties tender.
  3. Form the mixture into small patties suited for slider buns (about 2.5–3 inches wide). Place patties on the preheated grill or skillet. Cook about 5–7 minutes per side, flipping once, until they reach 165°F (74°C) or are cooked through and nicely browned. Brush extra maple lightly on top in the last minute for extra glaze.
  4. Toast slider buns in the skillet or oven until lightly golden. Assemble sliders by placing each patty on a bun, then add lettuce and tomato if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For parties, arrange sliders on a platter with toothpicks. Serve with mustard, mayo, or a chipotle aioli for dipping. Store cooked patties in an airtight container for up to 3 days, and freeze for up to 2 months.
