- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the drained chickpeas, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, tossing occasionally, until the chickpeas are heated through and slightly crispy on the edges.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the chickpeas and toss to combine. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, dry chickpeas after rinsing and avoid crowding the pan. Adjust seasonings as needed.
