Description

Delicious crumbl cookies infused with matcha flavor and creamy white chocolate chips, perfect for a café-style treat at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and centers look set but soft. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Use good quality culinary matcha for best flavor and color. These cookies can be served warm or at room temperature and pair perfectly with milk or matcha latte.
