Description

A savory and hearty meatloaf that’s easy to prepare and perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Mold the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish. Spread ketchup on top of the meatloaf. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  4. Let the meatloaf cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in minced garlic or herbs like thyme or parsley. If it’s too dry, add more milk or beef broth.
