Description

A delightful mix of creamy feta cheese, sweet cherry tomatoes, and briny Kalamata olives baked until soft and warm, perfect for entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 200g feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crusty bread or pita chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, place the block of feta cheese and drizzle it generously with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle the dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper over the feta.
  4. Carefully add the halved cherry tomatoes and Kalamata olives around the feta.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  7. Serve warm with crusty bread or pita chips for dipping.

Notes

For added flavor, you can use roasted garlic or balsamic vinegar. Substitute feta with goat cheese for a tangier version.
