- 200g feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crusty bread or pita chips for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, place the block of feta cheese and drizzle it generously with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper over the feta.
- Carefully add the halved cherry tomatoes and Kalamata olives around the feta.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Serve warm with crusty bread or pita chips for dipping.
Notes
For added flavor, you can use roasted garlic or balsamic vinegar. Substitute feta with goat cheese for a tangier version.
