Description

A hearty, cheesy casserole featuring layers of ravioli smothered in marinara sauce and topped with bubbling cheese. Perfect for weeknight dinners or festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Place half of the frozen ravioli evenly over the marinara sauce.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread this mixture over the first layer of ravioli.
  4. Add another layer of marinara sauce, then place the remaining ravioli on top. Pour the last of the marinara sauce over the ravioli and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Leftover casserole can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20-25 minutes.
