Description

Bright and fresh appetizer with cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and basil, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut cherry tomatoes in half and pat mozzarella dry if moist. Lay out basil leaves and prepare skewers.
  2. Thread a half of a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball onto a skewer.
  3. No cooking required, but optional: grill assembled skewers briefly on a hot pan for slight charring.
  4. Repeat with remaining ingredients, drizzle with balsamic glaze and olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Serve on a platter with extra basil if desired.

Notes

Best eaten fresh; store assembled bites in an airtight container for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
