Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes
- Fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
- Fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Cut cherry tomatoes in half and pat mozzarella dry if moist. Lay out basil leaves and prepare skewers.
- Thread a half of a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball onto a skewer.
- No cooking required, but optional: grill assembled skewers briefly on a hot pan for slight charring.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients, drizzle with balsamic glaze and olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Serve on a platter with extra basil if desired.
Notes
Best eaten fresh; store assembled bites in an airtight container for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
