Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, cooked and sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 beaten egg for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and green bell peppers. Sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked flank steak, sautéed vegetables, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick. Spread the steak mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log, sealing the ends. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the top with beaten egg and cut slits in the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
