Spooky and fun, Mummy Hot Dogs are hot dogs wrapped in flaky pastry, perfect for Halloween or family gatherings.
Ingredients
- Hot dogs
- Puff pastry or crescent roll dough
- Mustard or ketchup (for eyes)
- Cooking spray or oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry or crescent roll dough and cut into thin strips.
- Wrap the dough strips around each hot dog, leaving gaps for eyes.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spray or brush with oil, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Add eyes using mustard or ketchup.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Consider using turkey or chicken hot dogs for a healthier option. Mini hot dogs can also be used for appetizers.
