Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, and milk. Stir constantly until it comes to a boil.
- Once your mixture reaches a rolling boil, let it boil for one minute without stirring, then remove from heat.
- Immediately stir in the oats, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie mixture onto wax paper and allow to cool until set, about 30 minutes.
Notes
For a tropical twist, add shredded coconut or make a nut-free version using sunflower seed butter.
