Description

An incredibly easy and refreshing dessert made with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, perfect for warm summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth. Set aside a few slices for garnish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture until well combined. Lightly incorporate the strawberry puree until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  6. Serve scoops of ice cream topped with reserved strawberry slices.

Notes

Use ripe, sweet strawberries for the best flavor. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
