Description

A warm stack of golden pancakes layered with fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup, perfect for any morning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • Maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 2 minutes), then flip and cook until golden brown on the second side (about 1–2 minutes more).
  6. Stack pancakes on plates and layer with fresh berries. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, substitute 2 tablespoons of milk with Greek yogurt or add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
