- 2 pastrami-seasoned steaks
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Pat the steaks dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a small bowl, combine mustard and mayonnaise until well blended, and set aside.
- Add olive oil to the hot skillet or grill and place the seasoned steaks on it. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the steak into strips and serve drizzled with the mustard mayo. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Allow steaks to come to room temperature before cooking for even results. Using a meat thermometer for doneness is recommended.
