Description

A delightful twist on the classic flavors of a patty melt, this pizza combines juicy beef, gooey cheese, caramelized onions, and tangy pickles for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough
  • Ground beef
  • Onion (sliced)
  • Cheese (Swiss or American)
  • Pickle slices
  • Mustard
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the pizza dough instructions.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the sliced onions until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  3. In another skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, seasoning with salt and pepper, until browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough, place it on a baking sheet, and spread mustard over the dough. Layer cooked beef, sautéed onions, cheese, and pickle slices evenly on top.
  5. Bake the pizza according to the dough instructions, about 15-20 minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven to maintain crust crispness.
