Delightful summer treat with fresh peaches wrapped in a flaky crust, perfect for picnics or snack time.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 package pre-made pie crusts
- Oil for frying
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Prepare peaches by peeling and chopping them into small pieces.
- In a medium bowl, combine chopped peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Roll out pre-made pie crusts and cut them into circles, about 4 to 5 inches in diameter.
- Place a spoonful of the peach mixture in the center of each circle.
- Fold the crust over to create a crescent shape and seal the edges.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or large pan.
- Fry the hand pies until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For baking, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve with powdered sugar or honey.
