Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pie crust (top and bottom)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt; mix gently.
  3. Place the bottom pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and pour the peach mixture into it, dotting with butter.
  4. Cover with the top crust, crimp edges, cut slits, and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden.
  5. Let cool before serving.
