Rich and gooey bars featuring fudgy brownie, tangy cheesecake, and creamy peanut butter, perfect for chocolate and peanut butter lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the brownie mix, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, and 1 large egg in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish.
  4. Beat together the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, 1 egg, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  5. Scrape the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer and spread evenly.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer and swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack and chill for cleaner slices before cutting into 12 bars.
