A delightful combination of flavors, these scones are enriched with creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate, perfect for breakfast or an afternoon treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the peanut butter and milk until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly for a few seconds.
  7. Roll out the dough and fold it over itself a few times to create swirls.
  8. Pat the dough into a circle about 1-inch thick and cut into wedges or use a cookie cutter.
  9. Place the scones on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let the scones cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
