Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the peanut butter and milk until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly for a few seconds.
- Roll out the dough and fold it over itself a few times to create swirls.
- Pat the dough into a circle about 1-inch thick and cut into wedges or use a cookie cutter.
- Place the scones on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the scones cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
