Delicious bite-sized snacks combining pepperoni and gooey mozzarella, perfect for game days and movie nights.
Ingredients

- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the egg and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, dip in the egg, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- In the center of each breaded stick, place a slice of pepperoni.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the sticks until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze before frying and cook from frozen.
