Delightful breakfast sliders that combine crispy hash-brown patties with creamy scrambled eggs, melted cheddar cheese, and zesty pickles.
Ingredients

- 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for frying
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 16 dill pickle slices
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion, optional
- 1/4 cup chopped chives or scallions, optional
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped or 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to create a ranch dip. Cover and refrigerate.
- In a large bowl, combine thawed hash browns, 2 eggs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Shape 1/4 cup of the mixture into patties and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Whisk together 4 eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet and scramble the eggs until just set. Assemble sliders with a hash-brown patty, cheese, scrambled eggs, pickles, onion, and top with another hash-brown patty. Serve warm with ranch dip.
Notes
