Description

Delightful breakfast sliders that combine crispy hash-brown patties with creamy scrambled eggs, melted cheddar cheese, and zesty pickles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for frying
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 16 dill pickle slices
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion, optional
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives or scallions, optional
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to create a ranch dip. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. In a large bowl, combine thawed hash browns, 2 eggs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Shape 1/4 cup of the mixture into patties and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Whisk together 4 eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet and scramble the eggs until just set. Assemble sliders with a hash-brown patty, cheese, scrambled eggs, pickles, onion, and top with another hash-brown patty. Serve warm with ranch dip.

Notes

Customize with extra cheese or different pickles as desired.
