- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- Optional: whipped cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk; mix until well combined.
- Pour the crushed pineapple with juice into the baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pineapple and bake for 30–40 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool slightly for 10–15 minutes, then serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with whipped cream.
Notes
For best texture, use softened cream cheese and do not overmix the batter. Cool slightly before serving for easier slicing.
