Description

Delightful and whimsical Pistachio Bird’s Nests are perfect for springtime celebrations, combining crunchy pistachios with sweet chocolate eggs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pistachios
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup toasted coconut
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pistachios, sweetened condensed milk, toasted coconut, vanilla extract, and salt until well mixed.
  2. Once your mixture is combined, scoop it out and start shaping it into small nests on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Using your hands, create an indentation in the center of each nest for placing the mini chocolate eggs later.
  4. Chill the nests in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until they firm up.
  5. Once set, place a few mini chocolate eggs in the center of each nest and serve.

Notes

Store leftover nests in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze for up to three months.
