Description

A fun mash-up of crispy tortilla chips loaded with mini pizza toppings like melted cheese, pepperoni, and vibrant vegetables.

Ingredients

  • tortilla chips
  • pizza sauce
  • shredded mozzarella cheese
  • pepperoni slices
  • sliced bell peppers
  • sliced olives
  • oregano
  • fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup. Wash and slice the bell peppers and basil. Drain and slice olives if needed.
  2. Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on the baking sheet. Drizzle or spoon pizza sauce over the chips in small pools so each chip gets some flavor. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauced chips.
  3. Add pepperoni, sliced bell peppers, and olives on top of the cheese. Sprinkle oregano evenly over everything. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, checking at 10 minutes. Remove when the cheese is melted and bubbly and pepperoni edges are slightly crisp.
  4. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Let the nachos cool for a minute so the cheese sets slightly. Serve warm and enjoy the mix of crunchy, gooey, and savory textures.

Notes

Use a sturdy chip to hold toppings; spread sauce in dollops to prevent sogginess. Layer cheese for better melting and avoid overbaking.
